Project Overview
Aerem Environmental was engaged to provide asbestos surveying and clearance services for the Waikato Regional Theatre redevelopment project. The site included multiple legacy building materials containing asbestos, requiring careful management during demolition and refurbishment works.
Scope
- Conducting comprehensive asbestos surveys to identify and map asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) across the site.
- Providing ongoing clearance inspections during removal works to ensure all asbestos hazards were effectively remediated.
- Performing background, control, and clearance air monitoring to verify airborne fibre levels were within safe, compliant limits.
- Delivering detailed compliance reports in alignment with WorkSafe NZ regulations and project documentation requirements.
Outcome
